'Green Mountain Gold', a compilation of biographies of the first eight induction classes of the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame is available to order now.

The 200-plus page book features bios and photos of all 97 of the VSHOF inductees, opening with an essay on the fabric of sports in the Green Mountain State by award-winning Sports Illustrated senior writer Alexander Wolff, a resident of Cornwall, Vermont.

The book is $35.00 plus shipping and handling with a portion of the proceeds from the book benefiting Prevent Child Abuse Vermont, the VSHOF's designated charity.
